Ana comes from Brazil and started practicing Hatha Yoga at the age of 16. She has been silently developing a personal practice ever since. In 2021, when living in Berlin, she found Ashtanga Yoga in the traditional Mysore style. Immediately, this became her passion and daily practice.

She has undertaken trainings for teaching the Primary and Intermediate Series with Andrea Lutz, attended workshops with Manju Jois, Sathu Jois, and Vijay Kumar, and has assisted and taught at the Ashtanga Studio Berlin since 2024. At the moment, she undertakes a study program in Yoga Philosophy with the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram.

Apart from Yoga, Ana has experience with somatics, dance, and bodywork. 

She lives most of the year in the state of São Paulo, where she teaches regularly both in person and online. She also travels often, and loves coming back to the Ashtanga community in Berlin.

In 2016, Gigi moved to Berlin and has been assisting at the Ashtanga studio since then.
