These workshops will present the Ashtanga Yoga Series and Traditions in their purest form, providing a rare and privileged opportunity for beginners and experienced practitioners alike to learn from Manju P. Jois, the eldest son of Sri K. Patthabi Jois, recognized worldwide as the foremost authority on Ashtanga Yoga. Manju will introduce and teach the powerful healing elements and techniques that make up the Ashtanga system.
The Primary Series, a series of asanas (postures) known as Yoga Chikitsa (Yoga Healing), the Intermediate Series entitled Nadi Shodhana (nerve cleansing), the Nadi Shodhana Pranayamas (breathing exercises) and the Vedic peace chants (Shanti Mantras).
Weekend Workshop:
Saturday: led Primary, to introduce the original Sanskrit counting method, light Pranayama, vedic peace chants, Discussion / Questions & Answers
Sunday: led half Primary and introduction to intermediate series (the beginning postures), Pranayama, vedic peace chants, Discussion / Questions & Answers

Teachers Training: "Healing Adjustments
for the Primary Series"
Manju is known for his healing hands and his precise adjustments. He has over 40 years experience in teaching and he is a master in Yoga Therapy. The Training is focused on learning safe and helpful adjustments for the Primary Series. We will explore each posture of the Primary Series in depth and detail. Manju will show his way of adjusting and assisting people in every posture. He will support each student to help people in their practice.
He will teach Nadi Shodana Pranayama as well as the vedic peace chants and meditation what helps to integrate the strong practice in mind and body.
This training is designed for everybody who is seriously interested in traditional Ashtanga Yoga. To attend the Teachers Training a regular practice in Ashtanga Yoga (full Primary Series) should be established.
